Very strange problem with my 2000

I have a 2000GTL that receives and locks on freq perfectly until keyed. When keyed the tx light comes on but no output and the frequency goes to 34.xxxx. No idea except for bad cap on the rail. Thanks

Any input appreciated. Btw, it now has talk back when keyed but still off freq and no output. Thanks

Try here, [Please login or register to view this link] , this will search the forum fr Cobra 2000GTL for members that had problems like the one you described. You could also try PM'ing TheCBDoctor, he was the Cobra radio guru on the forum, he's last posted back in Feb .
